What is the maximum drawdown rule?
TruFunderPlus enforces a maximum daily drawdown of 5% and a maximum total drawdown of 10%, calculated from the initial balance. Both limits are hard limits.
Key Details
- Daily drawdown: max 5% of initial balance per calendar day
- Overall drawdown: max 10% of initial balance at any time
- Both are calculated from starting balance, not equity peak
- Breaching either limit immediately invalidates the account
- Drawdown resets at midnight server time (EST)
Important Note
Risk no more than 1–2% per trade to stay well within drawdown limits and maintain a comfortable buffer.
